Rebecca Turington, was a skillful student with a doctoral degree in electrical engineering and computer sciences. She later came to work at HubrisWorld as its lead programmer.

History[]

Rebecca Turington graduated from CIT in mid-January 2075 with excellent grades. During her time of studying and programming she had unknowingly been watched by Professor Archibald Mannerheim, who had taken a personal interest in her skills, and especially a thesis she had written called The Conscious Mirror Image. This thesis would, unbeknownst to her, serve as the foundation for HubrisWorld's code.

Due to her work and skills she managed to land the job as Professor Archibald Mannerheim's personal assistant and lead programmer, developing the core programming that would make the synths of the park more lifelike and more human.

Personality[]

Rebecca is devoted to her research, and claims to like machines more than people. She is modest and unobtrusive, not wanting to be a bother or a burden to others. She is fascinated by the complexity of technology. She has also shown to be easily spooked as demonstrated in The Veil Lifts, when Mannerheim presents himself as well as having a low self-esteem as hinted at in The Man Who Wasn't There.
